Tony Curtis, Jamie Lee CurtisJim Smeal WireImage.com

He was known to many personal friends with Jamie Lee Curtis and close her deceased father, Tony Curtis, they were not at all.

On occasion, Jamie Lee spoke of rift in interviews. But now Jamie Lee engine really family dysfunction point home, thanks to his appearance today on le.Elle was dropped a few dearest daughter as bombs, "he was not a père.Il was not interested in a father."

Wonder if this notice was formed before or after Curtis took aware that she was not included in Tony will be?

Man .c ' is quite désagréables.Se asked what was behind?

Representative Curtis said she refused to even ask his client on the willingness that "really is nobody's business."

Curtis explained to Joy Behar on last month that his father was just "not about" after divorced her parents when she was three.

Jamie Lee defended his position on the:

Is well vrai.Quand at his father's funeral, Curtis talked earlier this month, it was warmly joking about it for several minutes, admitting that it has obtained its "desperately need attention" directly from his father.

Simply money, apparently.

Phosphor World Time E Ink watch review

They may not be the highest-function watches you've ever seen, but Phosphor's line of timepieces can make a claim that virtually no other watches in the world can: they've got E Ink displays. Sure, Seiko's been teasing us all with gorgeous pieces of E Ink wrist candy for half a decade, but the critical thing about Phosphor's offerings is that they're easy on the wallet (relatively speaking) and you won't need to embark on a grueling multi-year journey through specialty jewelry shops in Asia to try to find one.

The company just recently introduced its latest line of models featuring world time capability, and we've had a chance to check them out -- all four of them, to be precise. Read on for our quick review!

The Banned White iPhone 4 Promo [Humor]

"If you waited for the white iPhone, you're an idiot. You're a stupid human being who has waited 5 months for a phone that's a different color. That you're just gonna put a cover on anyway. So you're a fool. In fact, why don't you go get an EVO or something? Or a Droid. 2. They apparently does." Back in July, a group named jLe Productions made a great mock iPhone 4 commercial addressing the antenna issues. Now they're back. And this time they have a promo for the mythical white iPhone 4. And once again it's great.

BitDefender safego protects you from Facebook dangers

Filed under:

Facebook's immense popularity has made it a prime target for cybercriminals. Malicious (or 'poisoned') links, spam, and malvertising are all too common -- and it's far too easy for an unsuspecting Facebook user to be taken in. Hey, if one of your friends sends you a link to what seems like a hilarious picture, there's a decent chance you'll click through, right?

... And that's how the bad guys get you. Fortunately, however, there's a slick new Facebook app from BitDefender called safego that can help protect you (and your less-technical friends and family).

The idea is simple: install safego and let it scan your profile. Any links you've received will be scanned, including short URLs from services like bit.ly and tinyurl. Fire up the scanner and let it check all those new messages and wall posts you've received, and you'll know in an instant if there's anything that you should avoid clicking.

My mind boggles when I think about all of the infected computers I've cleaned that could have been spared that fate if their owners had used an app like safego to defend their Facebook profiles.
safego even checks your account for any privacy issues which might need to be addressed. Right now, unfortunately, attention items aren't linked -- so I can't find out what it is about my profile safego thinks I should check.

The app is in beta, however, so I'd fully expect that problem to be addressed by the time it sheds the tag. It's also worth noting that on some versions of Google Chrome the bottom boxes in safego's dashboard (last scanned items and infected items) never update. Again, this is likely a beta issue.

Growing pains aside, BitDefender safego is still a fantastic way for any Facebook user to protect him or herself. If you've ever been the victim of a malicious link on Facebook or had your profile attacked by some nasty malware, safego is an app you simple shouldn't be without.

BitDefender provides safego totally free, and with good reason. The Facebook app is a great idea, and it's got tremendous viral potential. That means a lot of free PR and more name recognition for BitDefender -- which in turn could lead to increased sales of the company's paid products.

It should also allow BitDefender greater insight into the Facebook threat landscape, and that's a good thing for all of us. The more security companies know about what the bad guys are up to on Facebook, the better equipped they'll be to protect us.

Tivoli Audio fails to deviate with Model 10 clock radio, still celebrates Tin anniversary

So, what's a company to do when turning the big one-oh? The same thing that it always has, of course! Tivoli Audio's classic styling has somehow found its way back around again on the 10th anniversary Model 10 AM/FM clock radio, a highly compact music maker with a 7.8-inch cabinet, a pair of independent alarms (which can be set to music or a tone), inbuilt LCD and a menu screen with an adjustable backlight. As you'd expect, the pizazz is coming mostly in the form of exterior color options, with "furniture grade wood" being offered in walnut, cherry, blue, black and red. For the true historians, a Celebration Collection is available in light and dark aluminum wood finishes, with the Superior Collection adding a high gloss Frost White and Chesnut Brown (along with the 'Lines' pattern shown here). The auxiliary input allows pretty much any source to be connected, with all functions dictated by a single top-mounted rotary control or a bundled remote. As for pricing? They're going for $199.99 to $379.99, or precisely 19.2 times more than you ever expected.

Live from Barnes & Noble's 'Very Special Event'

To think, it's been just over a year since Barnes and Noble's Nook was officially unveiled, a 6-inch e-reader with a secondary, Android-powered colored display for navigation. And here we are now, in attendance at a "very special event" from the bookseller's Union Square store in New York -- for what, we can only guess. Stay tuned, things could get very colorful.

Bitch-Back! Will T.Swift Sing on new Dude?

Taylor Swift PacificCoastNews.com

Dear Ted:
Taylor Swift
and Jake Gyllenhaal? What? PS I can't believe you buzzed your hair off. It's cute.
—Ames

Dear Caught a Swifty Drift:
We can't believe this fresh-off-the-press duo, either! While the two definitely got cozy in the Big Apple last weekend, we can't confirm that it is love at first sight. Jake is totally Tay's type, what with him being older and loving blondes. But for now, I guess we will just keep our eyes and ears peeled, especially since she may be writing up the romance sooner than later. And thanks for the buzz-cut buttering up. I like it, too!

Dear Ted:
I just heard Taylor Swift's song "Better Than Revenge" on her new album, and it is apparent that it's about Camilla Belle. To quote her, "She's an actress/ she's better known for the things she does on the mattress." Who knew? Do you think Camilla will give a rebuttal or just roll her eyes?
—Faye

TWITTER: Follow @theawfultruth?

Dear Lyrically Inclined:
Taylor's definitely speaking now and never holding her relationship peace. Honestly, if we hear one more lyrical love diss or bitch we may just throw Camilla a bone and take her side. Still, it's hard to believe the song's directly about Belle. Tay may be known for using her music as a way of expressing her feelings, but taking jabs at her ex's other women is so not her style. She's more of an ex-basher, not a girl-trasher if you ask me.

Dear Ted:
We know T-town has lots of vices and problems...Who would you say is the most adjusted of the superstars, the happiest?
—WallaceWorld

Dear Happier Played Than Done:
Can't say anyone's über-happy out there unless you count Brangelina's Euro excursions with the kiddos. The rest are so PR they make me want to get puuuked.

Dear Ted:
Please tell me Troy Polamalu isn't Pepper Harthman. I'd like to think that his saintly image is still intact!
—Ivondale

Dear S--tsburg:
Nope, Troy isn't Pepper. Think Ben Roethlisberger did enough PR damage for their team. Glad P.H. isn't on it.

Dear Ted:
What do you think about the latest rumors that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are about to split? Did Ben really cheat on Jen with Blake Lively? It seems like they got pretty close while filming The Town.
—Gossip Girl

Dear Quit Your Gossiping:
Girl, this isn't a rumor even Serena Van der Woodsen would appreciate. Jennifer and Ben are living the so-happy married life with their babies, and Blake is still seeing her cutesy nerd of a BF and costar, Penn Badgley. How you paired Ben with Blake is beyond me, but let's not get to gossiping about Garner. She's one bad mama-jama and won't take it, or you, lightly.

Dear Ted:
Say someone signs a confidentiality agreement, what's to keep them from going to a tabloid and saying I can give you X's dirty laundry for a larger amount of money than the confidentiality agreement is slated to pay off?
—SmylesRiley

Dear Thoughtful:
No one's dirty laundry is off limits, especially if the pay-off will leave them well off. Sad, but true!

Dear Ted:
The book and musical Wicked will be a movie. What do you think of Lea Michele to the Elphaba part? She can act and sing, and they already said that Indina Menzel won't play the part. What's your opinion?
—ChelliDantas

Dear Musical Minion:
I can def see this happening, and might actually be into it! I mean, Lea is a former Broadway star gone Gleek. We'd love to see how sexily scandalous Lea could make one wicked witch! We're totally onboard if she is.

Dear Ted:
I've got a sneaking suspicion that Dashed Dingle-Dream's beard and Grey Goose's beard are on friendly terms with each other. Am I right?
—Radha

Dear Not Even Close:
Dash's beard likes to keep it under wraps. You won't see this cover getting loose with any famous gooses, even if it's just friendly.

Dear Ted:
I'm pretty sure that our local professional sports hero is Pepper Harthman. Only one piece of the puzzle doesn't fit. I think you said there's no hint of gossip about him. Well, here in the hometown, most people suspect that Pepper's marriage is for show only. Local law enforcement officers can tell you stories of covering for Pepper and/or his wife as they pursue extra-marital alliances. Does that rule him out, or does local gossip not count? Actually, you can answer my musings very easily: Does Pepper have children? Unfortunately, a "no" answer will pretty much point to our guy, so I'm guessing you can't answer it.
—I'm almost sure I know

Dear Not So Sure:
This daddy does it all, maybe not in the classiest of ways, but he sure enjoys a family huddle, kids or no kids involved.

Dear Ted:
Thank you for setting the record straight about Kristen Stewart's commitment to playing Bella Swan in Breaking Dawn. I have never seen her happier as she discussed Breaking Dawn while promoting Welcome to the Rileys.
—Hayley

Dear Committed to Kristen:
She's not going to let her Twi-hards down, duh! Glad you're happy to know Kris is still on board the vamp-mobile, but really, we all know the Twilight series is her No. 1 priority. Or maybe just a close second after rubbin' up on Rob.

Dear Ted:
I wanted to ask if you knew anything about Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder of the Vampire Diaries. I wasn't a huge fan of the show, but their chemistry was undeniable in a scene that I'd watched recently. I would like to know if they're indeed a couple (secretly dating like Kristen and Robert, who seem to be more public now). If you shed some light into this couple, that will be fantastic.
—Lilac

Dear Not So Robsten:
Nina and Ian may share some steamy screen time on the set of Vampire Diaries, but they are definitely no Robsten. The two have been viciously promoting their TV series, but no romance rumors. Plus, for some reason I don't think these two will make it to an offscreen romance, but if they do, never fear, I'll be filling you in!

Dear Ted:
Has Halle Berry been a Blind Vice? She seems so perfect, but with that breakup from that hot supermodel, it makes me wonder what happened.
—D0li

Dear Not Berry Much:
She hasn't hit our Vicey record books just yet, but who's to say she won't become an exclusive member soon enough? No one is safe, seemingly perfect or not.

Dear Ted:
I'm completely heartbroken, as I recently lost my beautiful best friend Stella, who was just a kitten when I picked her up from a married pair of rescuers. I enjoy sending you questions, and I also know that if anyone could give me some understanding words of encouragement right now, it would be you. So, my question is: I noticed that Rihanna couldn't make it to Katy Perry's wedding this weekend, supposedly due to her schedule, which I find odd, considering the date was set for this shindig quite some time ago. Is it possible that Rihanna was uninvited from the nuptials because of the way she publicly dissed Katy's music earlier this month?
—Mary M.

Dear Mad at the Honor:
We hear that Ri-Ri's no-show really was a snag in the scheduling. Not to mention, the two are BFFS and no rumor's ruining that relationship. Plus, the Perry-Brand wedding was one for the books, and we're sure Katy wanted all her girls there. This maid of honor may have been absent come the big day, but she was by the Cali girl's side the rest of the wedding-planning way! And so sorry to hear about Stella. Really.

Dear Ted:
My adopted basset mix Olivia Flaversham wonders if Abbie Cornish could possibly be Maribeth Bush?
—Barrett

Dear Interesting One:
Nope! Maribeth is much more lovable, diva and all. Abbie just doesn't give off the funny vibe that Bush does.

Abbie Cornish

Additional Revenue Streams for the Up and Coming Retirement

As the stock market continues to plummet, many investors are left with a sense of insecurity about the future.  The steady growth of the mid-90's has all but dried up, and most of the investment community is desperate for something that is low risk.  For many baby boomers, the plight of the markets is more than just bad news; it potentially means a delayed retirement.  Since many have lost big in their 401k's, the potential to retire seems like a dream that once was.

The myth about retirement is that it means the end of work.  Many retirees have found that the dream life of never going to work is too good to be true.  They have found happiness in doing a job that is low stress, and supplements income at the same time.  These jobs are easy to find, even in a job market that looks less than promising.

Where are these easy, low stress, low hours jobs?  They exist in abundance on the Internet.  Whether it is something aggressive like lead based advertising or something a little more laid back, such as banner design, jobs are all over online.  The type of revenue stream only depends on what amount of time and energy is willing to be expended to make it work.

One great job idea for baby boomers is the area of search engine optimization.  SEO is simply making websites more accessible and recognized by search engines.  This task is done in a variety of ways, but many of the methods are perfect for a retiree.  The jobs can be as simple as typing, or as complex as basic web design.  It is all dependant on the amount of work that is desired.

Some more ambitious baby boomers have gone after full blown online businesses as their way of retiring.  This can be a fun way to make a living, as online commerce continues to thrive worldwide.  The hours are what the site owner wants them to be, and the office can be anywhere that has an Internet connection.

Retirement for baby boomers is still a possibility, and understanding that supplemental income is available can make all the difference.
